What is Bentonite Clay? Bentonite Clay is actually composed of ash made from volcanos. The use of bentonite clay stems far back in history as a traditional healing method used for protecting the body from disease and toxins. It has been reported that people living in Central Africa and Australia have applied and consumed clays in numerous ways for centuries. It works wonderfully on the skin, because it allows the skin to heal and reduces inflammation. Bentonite clay can help to remove toxins from your pores and helps to lighten acne marks and scars on the face. Used as a soak to help the body remove toxins. Great to add to a spiritual bath.
